First snow of the season
First snow of the winter fell across the South Island over the weekend. The ski fields got 30-40cms, various parts of the Canterbury Plains got a dump as well, it was snowing in Cathedral Square while I was in Warner's Hotel watching Ireland take on the ABs. I took the kids up the Gondola on Sunday morning where there were some stunning views across the plains to the snow-plastered Canterbury Foothills, and across Lyttleton Harbour.
